80

Well today - Monday - was my 80th week since birth! Boy that's a long time, I just wish I could remember where all that time went. I mean I'm just now starting to string 2 words together, think of how much more I need to accomplish before I reach 100 weeks!

Boy, this daylight savings time has kicked me for a loop. I'm not sleeping well at all the past few days.

But wow what a wonderful weekend we just had. On Sunday, daddy and I went down to the creek behind the house, with the snow last week (which I did not like very much at all, thank you very much), the riverbed was flooded, but by the weekend it had all dried up with the sunny warm weather.

We walked upstream and downstream (daddy taught me those words!) and watched the water flow. It looks either some beavers or trash have clogged up one part of it. It was too steep to get up close for a real inspection and daddy didn't want to get me all muddy.

Later, mommy came out onto the deck and I showed her first-hand my outdoor voice....boy am I loud sometimes!

Snow wow

We've had quite an out of ordinary day this first day of March. First off, I'm still feeling a wee bit sick this weekend. Haven't been my energetic self at all, but sometimes later in the day I start feeling better.

This afternoon was a rough one for me though. I didn't really take a nap and started not feeling well, so I cried and screamed, and screeched and cried most of the afternoon. Mommy and Daddy finally calmed me down with a bath and though maybe I had some gas in my tummy or something.

Whatever it was, it started to go away and I started feeling better and hungry!

Oh and all weekend long it has just rained and rained, which is good Daddy said because we needed the rain to help end our drought. But it was just a gray drabby weekend and then early this evening, that rain turned to what Mommy and Daddy called snow!

They took my over to the back door and turned on the light and I saw all these globs of white stuff just falling everywhere, and everything on the ground was just coated in it! All I could say was, "wow!" over and over.

Daddy went outside and scooped some of it up and threw it at the window, I thought that was a little funny, but then he brought some of it inside and I wasn't sure what to do about it. I touched it, but it was really cold and wet...I don't want any part of that whatsoever!

From the sound of it, Mommy doesn't have school tomorrow, so I bet I won't either.
