The grabbing hands grab all they can
Yesterday, Sunday the 20th, a mere 3 days before my 5th month birthday, mommy fed me my first jar of strained peas, which is probably a really nice way of saying bland.
But they were good, I ate a lot of it with most of it going into my tummy and not on my bib. So here's to vegetables!
Maybe check back in with me in a few years and see what I think of them at that point, but for now, they're good to go. In fact, I finished up the jar this evening which surprised mommy and daddy.
Actually, I think they're more surprised that I keep grabbing the spoon! I can't quite feed myself just yet, but I figure I might as well learn how to hold the darn thing (and for those keeping track I've been holding it in my right hand).
Full disclosure: I've pretty much been grabbing what's ever around and trying to jam it in my mouth, just seems like the right thing to do right now. I've just about perfected the double-thumb suck.
And lastly, Sunday was a double fun day as I also did some more rolling over just to show daddy I could do it, but just a little cold for my taste, so we didn't do that for long. I'm not so sure I'm real fond of the cold weather yet.
